The Process of Applying Insitu Spray Applied Corrosion Coating
When applying protective coatings for HVAC coils, our technicians follow a specific process that guarantees long-lasting results. Insitu spray applied corrosion coating offers the highest corrosion resistance in the industry, providing long-term protection from harsh elements. Disassembly
We disassemble your unit to ensure optimal coverage for every application.

Surface Preparation
We remove grease and rust from every surface to ensure proper adherence. Copper pipes, u-bends, and headers may need to be mechanically cleaned if they show evidence of varnishing or excess flux.

Surface Chemical Cleaning
Our team uses specialized chemicals to clean every header, pipe, and u-bend, wetting each component thoroughly. We also clean all coils, covering the tubbing and fins on both sides.

Surface Washing
After the chemical cleaning, we use a special pressure wand to rinse the coils, keeping the wand facing downward with a horizontal spray from one to two feet away.

Surface Drying
We then use a powerful handheld blower held at a downward angle to remove all excess water from the coils.

Surface Masking
We mask some components within the system to prevent painting or overspraying areas that don’t require the coating.

Surface Coating
Our team applies the coating evenly, adjusting the flow and spray pattern as needed. We aim to ensure maximum coverage and penetration. We wait five to 10 minutes between coats to eliminate sags, runs, and drips.

Surface Reassembly
Once the coating dries, we remove the masking and reassemble the unit. We install support structures, filters, side panels, and wiring.

Unit Packing and Final Inspection
Our team carefully inspects your unit to ensure protective packaging, panels, and screws are present.
